Shadowland: Dias’s appearance in this episode is brief. This is where he (and the other Warlords) is introduced. He has an almost haughty look as he introduces himself.
Lines: “I am Dais, Warlord of Illusion.”
Glory for Anubis: Dais is again featured briefly in this episode. This is our first look at him out of his battle armor. He and the other Warlords are in Talpa's’ audience chamber listening to their leader’s plans. At first he seems quite happy allowing Anubis and Cale to bicker and remains silent while Sekhmet joins in. When Anubis volunteers to fight the Ronins Dais laughs. When the young one questions him he points out that Anubis may underestimate him opponent because they are so young (Dais is exhibiting the intelligence and foresight that serves him well later on).
Lines: “You underestimate them; they move prove more than a match for you.”
“Who can transform into mystical armor.”
Secret of Wildfire: This episode sees two trends develop, the Warlords and their bickering… and Dais’s smug look. ;) Dais and the others “discuss” Anubis’s battle with the Ronins. Dais points out that the Ronins fought well and yet again alludes to the fact that they should not be underestimated. In the end of the episode Dais along with the others sneer at Anubis for failing again.
Lines: “Yes they could still be out there.”
“Right. The Ronin Warriors fought a good battle; they kicked back hard.”
“Are you sure?”
The Search Begins: This starts with Dais chewing out Anubis for his ego and his failure. He then (with the others) listen to more wisdom from Talpa as they plan the demise of the Ronins.
Lines: “How pathetic. You are a hopeless braggart. And you made such a disgraceful retreat Anubis.”
“Yes Master Talpa” (said jointly with the others)
“How so Master Talpa?” “
The Counter Attack: Dais makes a cameo in this, appearing with Cale and Anubis as Talpa shows them the Ronins progress and asks who will fight next. He is next seen in the end looking smug as Sekhmet fails.
Lines: “Yes sir.” said with Sekhmet and Anubis.
*Friend or Foe: Its Dais’s turn to shine in this episode. In the beginning he insults the others for their failures. When they snap back he begins to tell of his plan to defeat the Ronins. He grandly bows down in front of Talpa and tells of how he plans to get the Ronins before all five are back together. He asks permission to use the “special weapon” then declares that he will not fail (this declaration is followed by some wonderfully evil laughter.)
An ominous shadow appears in the road as Mia, Sage and Kento drive by. A forshadowing of things to come. We then see Sai, Ryo and Yulie at the Temple of Security. Yulie is walking back and forth babbling about the candles never going out and how safe he feels when suddenly, one by one, the candles mysteriously go out. A figure appears in the shadows; and as Dais approaches him Yulie screams. The others outside are startled by the scream and Dais breaks through the roof with the boy in hand.
Pleasantries are exchanged by the warriors and Dais attacks (one handed) with his morning star. The Ronins are scrambling to avoid the blows and Ryo yells for Dais to let the boy go-and he does. Ryo tells White Blaze to take care of him and Dais retorts with “but who will take care of you” as a precursor to a nunchuck attack. He begins laughing again and with a cry lets loose a volley with incredibly quick speed. Ryo and Sai avoid some shots but are beginning to falter. As Sai lies battered and bruised Ryo throws tiles. Taking this as encouragement Dais pulls the scythes off of his back and begins tearing up the roof of the temple. The Ronins fall to the ground and with a triumphant laugh Dais transfers himself over to a tree (in his customary hanging up-side down position. This shot shows off his very nice thighs, IMO ;)). From the tree he attacks with the Scythes again, using his special attack for the first time. The sticky tendrils of the web ensnare the boys and drain their energy. As it is doing so Dais laughs and begins to lay down his intricate trap. He tells them he has Rowen and that to get him back they must meet him in Sendai. With another laugh he then jumps off towards Sendai.
As Sai and Ryo get to Sendai they are greeted with the image of Rowen being held captive by some soldiers. After defeating the soldiers they discover that it was all an illusion as Rowen fades away to reveal Dais. Splitting into two images of himself Dais sits back and lets Ryo and Sai blast each other with their own attacks. Only as they fall to the ground, beaten, do they realize they have been had. Just as he is about to finish then off Yulie runs up and Dais fades into the background prepping a trap for Sage and Kento.
Fog shrouds the two fighters and Dais once again uses his masking illusion to trick them. Sage, being his ever smart self, figures this out. Unfortunately for him his warnings do not reach Kento’s ears. The Earth Warrior is too stubborn and he batters “Dais” into the ground. As “Dais” falls down he is revealed to be Sage-who gave himself up to make sure Kento could stay conscious to get Dais. Enraged by the trickery Kento manages to defeat Dais. So starts a long and...interesting relationship between the two. The episode ends with the Ronins finally figuring out where Rowen is, and Dais hanging (right side up-another good pose)in a tree watching them (and probably plotting another attack ;)).
Lines: “This is the fault of Anubis Sekhmet and Cale. They were weak and they failed the dynasty.” “Silence. All that I am hearing from you is more talk than action.”
“Yes my emperor.”
“Of the five the one they call Rowen is the most clever and dangerous. It is my plan to destroy them before they can find him. With your permission, I wish, to use the special weapon against them.”
“Dais the Dark Warlord of Illusion will not fail.”
“Your wish, is my command, master.”
“Very perceptive boys. Shall we play a game of skill?”
“But who will take care of you Wildfire? Prepare to do battle.”
“I thought you Ronin Warriors were strong, what's the matter can you not take my metal?”
“Do you like to play games?”
“Web of Deception!”
“You fought well Warriors. Too bad you are so weak. But now I’ll share my secret with you. I have your friend.”
“Its true. The one you call Rowen of the Strata is in my hands now. If you want him you’ll have to follow me to the city of Sendai.”
“I’ll be waiting for you in Sendai.”
“Awe did that hurt? Hahahaha (evil laugh...had to put it in)”
“Don’t worry Ronin runts I’ll put you out of your misery. Huh?”
“Time to set up another trap.”
“Whats it going to be warrior? Fight or flee?”
“You two fell into my trap just like your friends did. Now you will die like them too.”
“Web of Deception” (again!)
“Ahhhh!” (screaming in pain and prolly a bit of rage).

Triumphant Warriors: Dais is featured briefly in the final episode. He and the others join Kayura in defying Talpa. He smashes some soldiers with his nunchucks and stands defiantly while they tell Talpa off. At the end of the episode he is seen floating back to the Netherrealm with Kayura Cale and Sekhmet to clean up and protect it from invasion.
Lines: “I was a fool for following you but now I see the truth.”
“Huh?” (the intelligent noise he and the others make when Talpa dives into the lake)
